Dr. Evans Kidero - The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) strong man clinched the Nairobi Gubernatorial seat, beating his closest rival
Ferdinand Waititu with a small margin. Final results from Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission
(IEBC) showed Evans Kidero obtained 692,483 votes against TNA’s
Ferdinand Waititu with 617,839.
Speaking after being trounced by Kidero, Waititu honorably
conceded defeat and said he has respected the wishes of the Nairobians.
